The price includes the use of sauna, swimming pool (30°C), table tennis, fitness room (except

for children groups), library, mini-golf, sports facilities, playground, entertainment programme,

daily cleaning except bank holidays. Half board includes buffet breakfast,a choice between

three 3-course set menus (from the second day of the stay), fruit and dessert.
1st day no choice possible.

Daily cleaning includes: cleaning the bathroom, waste disposal, making beds, cleaning floors – not for groups.

COMMERCIAL CONDITIONS:
(1) Change of Shoes: In order to keep the floors in a good state and for your own comfort, we ask you to store your outdoor shoes in the shoe cupboard (e.g. for hiking, snow and ski boots and galoshes).

(2) Parking: Kindly only park your vehicle in the allocated area – it is not permitted to park anywhere else. Your car can stay outside the hotel for up to 30 minutes for loading and unloading. For every further hour you will automatically be charged €120.

(3) Meal times: Breakfast: 7.30-9.30, Lunch: 12.00-13.30, Dinner: 18.00-19.30 (guests on half board can choose between set menus M1, M2 and M3)

(4) The indoor pool is open daily between 8.00 a.m. and 10 p.m. with a lunch break between 12 and 2 p.m. Smoking and the consumption of alcohol is strictly forbidden in the sauna, pool and other social areas.

(5) The hotel Haus Semmering takes no responsibility in the pool area.

(6) Rooms can be occupied from 14:00 on the day of arrival. We would ask guests to check out by 9.30 on their day of departure.

(7) Night quiet: In respect to guests trying to rest, we would ask you to close doors quietly and to keep quiet between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.

(8) All hotel keys should be kept carefully or returned to reception – a charge of €110 key ring will be levied if lost.

(9) Telephoning: The best time to catch hotel guests is between 8-9 a.m. and 12-1 p.m., 2-7 p.m.

(10) Please only use the fire and emergency alarms in an emergency. Kindly find the administrator in the event of an emergency (at the entrance on the way to the chalets).

(11) Kindly only change your hand and bath towels 2 per week. More frequent changing of towels can be made at the reception for a charge.

PLEASE NOTE! that 20% of the overall price should be transferred to our account within 7 days of receiving our invoice once a reservation has been confirmed. Otherwise, your reservation will automatically be cancelled. The remainder should be paid no later than 30 days before arrival. If this is not possible for any reason, this sum should be paid in cash upon arrival at the hotel, although only if agreed with reception. IMPORTANT!!! IF THE STAY IS FOR ANY OF THE DISCOUNT WEEKS we ask guests to pay the full amount within 14 days of receiving the invoice at the latest. Otherwise, they will be subject to the hotel’s standard rates. If you cancel a special offer for a week's stay, only an insured cancellation is valid. If you cancel the stay without taking out insurance, the whole sum is for the hotel! Prices for members of the Hotel Haus Semmering club are only valid if reserved for a minimum of 7 nights. Standard rates apply to club members for shorter stays. The discount rates only apply to guests who take part in our special programmes (sports, hiking, cosmetics) as offered.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS:
If a confirmed reservation is cancelled (3 months before the start of the stay), the 20% deposit is taken in compensation, to which is automatically added a handling charge of €26 in the hotel’s favour. If the reservation is cancelled later than one month before the start of the stay, the following conditions apply:
Cancellation fees (see below) + handling fee of €26
0-7 days.........100 %
8-14 days.........80 %
15-20 days.......50 %
21-90 days.......20 %

Even if a cancellation has been made, payment can be transferred to a different date after agreeing with hotel management and providing a doctor’s certificate. NB: Cancellation is only accepted in exceptional circumstances. If accepted, we will only pay the amount in the form of a credit note (not valid for early departure or illness). Cancellation is never paid in cash. The credit note is non-transferable! Please take out our cancellation insurance policy to avoid such problems. We cannot guarantee you a reserved room without a confirmation of the reservation. If you would like a guarantee of a reserved room, you should confirm your reservation. Conditions for travel agents are as agreed in the contract.
If the room is not occupied on the day of arrival by 10 p.m. without special arrangements, the reservation will be cancelled in favour of the hotel.
